Push It is a song by alternative rock band Garbage from their second studio album, Version 2. It was released on April 20, 1998 as the album's lead single. Lead singer Shirley Manson elaborated on the song's dreamy verse structure versus the confrontational chorus: the schizophrenia that exists when you try to reconcile your desires and demons with the need to fit in. It's a song of reassurance. The track contains a musical quotation of the Beach Boys' 1964 song Don't Worry. With Garbage, Shirley Manson. Garbage performs in the music video Push It from the album Version 2. 0 recorded for Mushroom Records. Shirley Manson sings as she walks through an empty grocery store. Meanwhile a group of women dressed as masked nuns exit a van and enter the store. The video also features footage of two pale dancing women, a trio of white haired children, and a topless woman in a fish tank. Title: Garbage: Push It Video 1998. Almost certainly audio from the pro-shot broadcast of the show. According to the tracklist given at, original tracks 7 & 8 ("Hammering In My Head" and "Medication") were omitted, as were 3 encore tracks, "Thirteen" (Big Star cover), "Girl Don't Come" and "You Look So Fine".

Superb recording and a very enjoyable show.
